多彩青春燃动赛场

-国际教育学院学生参加学校第二十五届田径运动会侧记

10月28日，九江学院第二十五届田径运动会如期举行。国际教育学院国际学生以饱满的热情投身这场青春盛会，用活力与笑容为校园增添了一抹亮丽的国际色彩。

开幕式上，48名留学生与1名旗手组成了国际教育学院方阵。他们身着各自国家的传统服饰，手举本国国旗与中国国旗，步伐整齐、笑容灿烂，赢得看台阵阵掌声。10名留学生带来的非洲特色舞蹈热情奔放、舞步铿锵，将现场气氛推向高潮，收获校领导和全场师生的热烈欢呼。

赛场上，学院共有20名学生报名参赛，为历年报名人数最多。赛场上，国际学生们无论名次先后，都全力冲刺、彼此加油。其中，来自尼日利亚的女生恩坎加·奎因（NKANGA QUEEN）在女子200米小组赛中一路领先，以小组第一晋级决赛，最终夺得第八名，成为本届运动会我院最好成绩。

此次运动会，国际学生既展示了多元文化风采，更以青春向上的姿态融入校园生活，让青春在九院赛场上尽情绽放。

Vibrant Youth Ignite the Track

October 28, the 25th Track and Field Meet of Jiujiang University kicked off as scheduled. International students from the Faculty of International Studies threw themselves into this celebration of youth with full enthusiasm, adding a bright splash of international color to the campus with their energy and smiles.

At the opening ceremony, 48 international students and one flag bearer formed the delegation of the Faculty of International Studies. Dressed in the traditional attire of their respective countries and holding both their national flags and the Chinese flag, they marched in orderly formation with radiant smiles, drawing rounds of applause from the stands. Ten international students then presented a vibrant African dance, their powerful and spirited steps bringing the atmosphere to a climax and earning warm cheers from university leaders and the entire audience.

A total of 20 students from FIS registered for the competitions, the highest number in recent years. On the track and field, the international students gave their all and cheered each other on, regardless of the final rankings. Among them, Nkanga Queen, a female student from Nigeria, led her heat in the women's 200 m preliminaries, advanced to the final as the top finisher in her group, and ultimately placed eighth — the best result achieved by the school at this year's meet.

Through this event, the international students not only showcased the splendor of multiculturalism but also integrated into campus life with a youthful and upward-looking spirit, letting their youth bloom to the fullest on the tracks of Jiujiang University.
