Safety Management

l Open flames are strictly prohibited in the dormitory, including but not limited to lighting candles, burning items, and using alcohol burners or kerosene stoves.

l The use and storage of prohibited electrical appliances is strictly forbidden, including but not limited to high-wattage heating devices such as immersion heaters, electric stoves, electric blankets, rice cookers, induction cookers, electric frying pans, and electric kettles. Permitted appliances, such as desk lamps, computers, and phone chargers, must meet safety standards and be unplugged when not in use.

若检查人员发现违章用电或使用大功率电器（500W及以上）导致断电，将给予口头警告，申请恢复用电最长可能需要24小时；两次及以上因违章用电或使用大功率电器导致断电的，除暂扣所使用的电器外，视情节轻重给予警告及以上纪律处分，申请恢复用电最长可能需要72小时。因违章用电造成火灾事故的，依照有关法规追究法律责任。私接电源线以及实施其他给宿舍和学生安全带来危害或隐患行为的，给予记过（含记过）以上处分；造成重大损失的，给予留校察看或开除学籍处分。

Supplementary measures:

Ø If inspectors discover violations of electricity usage regulations or the use of high-power electrical appliances (500W and above) resulting in power outages, a verbal warning shall be issued, and the application for restoring power supply may take up to 24 hours.

Ø If such violations occur twice or more, including cases where the use of high-power electrical appliances causes power outages, the electrical appliances used shall be confiscated, and disciplinary action of warning or above shall be imposed depending on the severity of the circumstances; the application for restoring power supply may take up to 72 hours.

Ø Where violations of electricity usage regulations lead to fire accidents, legal liability shall be pursued in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Ø Those who connect power lines without authorization or engage in other conduct that poses risks or hazards to the safety of the dormitories and students shall be subject to a demerit or more severe disciplinary action; those causing significant losses shall be placed on academic probation or expelled from school.

l It is strictly forbidden to pull or connect wires or network cables without authorization, or to dismantle or modify electrical lines and facilities in the dormitory.

l It is strictly forbidden to store flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic, or radioactive materials, controlled knives, or other dangerous and prohibited items.

l Personal valuables shall be safeguarded, and doors shall be locked and windows closed when leaving the dormitory. Any suspicious activity or security incident shall be reported immediately to the dormitory attendant, FIS, or the University Security Department.
