1. Purpose & Scope

2. Degree Conferral Conditions

3. Application & Review Process

Final decision made by the JIU Academic Degree Evaluation Committee.
4. Situations Where Degree Is Not Conferred or Is Revoked

Serious disciplinary sanctions (e.g., for cheating, violations) not lifted.
Academic misconduct in thesis/project (plagiarism, data falsification).
Fraudulent admission/graduation.
Other circumstances deemed inappropriate by the Committee.
5. Revocation & Review Procedures
Investigation and verification by the relevant Sub-committee, with right of defense for the student.
Committee makes final decision on revocation/non-conferral.
Students may apply for a review within 10 days of receiving the decision.
6. Certificate Management
Degree certificates are produced by FIS according to Ministry of Education standards.
Once reported and electronically registered, degree information cannot be modified.
Lost certificates may be replaced with a certification letter from FIS.
Revoked degrees will be deregistered and reported as invalid.
7. General Notes
FIS is responsible for interpretation of the regulations.
