We are delighted to invite you to join a special evening of music, culture, and cross-cultural connection at the Sunset Concert on Wenbo Island, one of Jiujiang's newest and most vibrant cultural landmarks.

About the Event

Since its debut in June 2026, the Sunset Concert series has become a signature summer event in Jiujiang, attracting nearly 40,000 visitors with its unique blend of music, lakeside scenery, and a lively creative bazaar. Held against the stunning backdrop of the sunset over Balihu Lake, the concert is an open, free-spirited gathering where everyone—from local residents to visitors—can enjoy live performances and the warm summer atmosphere. This Sunday's edition promises to be another unforgettable night of music and community.

Why You Are Invited

As part of our ongoing efforts to promote international cultural exchange and showcase the vibrant life of Jiujiang, we are producing a special international broadcast segment featuring the Sunset Concert. We would be honored to have international students participate in this filming and share their unique perspectives as part of the audience. Your presence will not only enrich the cultural diversity of the event but also help tell the story of Jiujiang to a global audience through your lens.

What to Expect

A Spectacular Sunset Setting: Enjoy the breathtaking sunset over Balihu Lake and the city skyline—a picture-perfect backdrop for photos and videos.

Live Music & Vibrant Atmosphere: Immerse yourself in the lively concert vibe, with local bands and open-mic sessions that invite everyone to sing along.

Cultural Exchange & Filming: Be part of the international broadcast program, sharing your thoughts and reactions on camera (participation is voluntary and will be arranged with your consent).

Night Market & Local Flavors: Explore the on-site bazaar with local crafts, creative stalls, and delicious food.

Extended Museum Access: The Jiujiang Museum, located nearby, will remain open until 9:00 PM, offering a chance to explore local history and culture.

Time: Please arrive by 5:30 PM for a brief orientation and group photo. The concert begins at sunset.
