A Speech to the PRE Graduating Batch 2021
Dear graduating students,
Today, you begin a new chapter. And my colleagues and I couldn't be prouder.
You've mastered modern medicine. But more than that — you've grown into compassionate people, ready to serve.
We are proud that you will be good citizens of your home countries.
We are proud that you have been good residents of Jiujiang.
And we are proud that you have been good students of this university.
Remember this:
Hardships make you mature. Friendship builds virtue. Cooperation creates a better world.
Stay healthy — in body and mind. Because your strength lifts everyone around you.
We will always help you. Send an email — we'll reply fast.
We will always wait for your news. Share your story with us, and with future students.
And remember — in my eyes, there are no "good" or "bad" students. You are individuals. You are yourself. Be the best version of you.
Let me close with quote from a former teacher, Raza, once said:
"You will fail. You will stumble. People will laugh at you before you succeed. And you must succeed — because you have talent."
You had support from family, friends, and faculty.
But your talent and your perseverance made your dream happen.
Never let anyone tell you you can't achieve your dream.
Go forward. Heal with heart. Make us proud — always.
Thank you.
